KUALA LUMPUR: The annual APPIES Malaysia Marketing Awards that honours the best marketing campaigns with outstanding success stories, as well as the people behind them, is officially set to take place this month.
The coveted marketing festival and conference would be held at the Eastin Hotel in Petaling Jaya on July 13 and 14.
Organised by Marketing Magazine Malaysia, APPIES Malaysia 2022 presents a rare opportunity for creative, media, digital and marketing agencies or brands to present their best campaigns to the industry.
This year’s winners will be receiving gold, silver or bronze trophies for 10 brand new categories and seven special Best of Best categories (red trophies) that do not require any submissions.

What makes the APPIES a sought-after award is the extensive selection process that takes place by bringing together over 30 top chief marketing officers as judges from various industries, each of whom have made their mark in their respective industries. The validation and recognition behind each gold, silver and bronze award is undisputed.
APPIES, also referred to as the “TED of Marketing”, is similar to TED Talks, creating an opportunity for great presenters with outstanding work to show it off to some of Malaysia’s most important industry leaders.
Eligible campaigns are presented in an interactive format comprising a four-minute creative reel summary, followed by a six-minute oral presentation highlighting significant aspects of the campaigns, and a question and answer session of eight minutes.
With an overwhelming number of entries submitted this year, presenters will dazzle the judges and attendees at The APPIES Malaysia 2022 with over 80 unique marketing case studies that have disrupted the traditional methods used in marketing campaigns.
Besides the opportunity to learn from these disruptive marketing campaigns, attendees will be getting the opportunity to meet and network with the top marketers of the country as well as the Asia-Pacific region.
